Privacy policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Short version: Pumped has no account and no backend. Your workouts stay on your phone, and we never receive them. This page explains that in full, and covers the small amount of information that other companies (mainly Apple) handle on our behalf.
What stays on your device
Everything you create in Pumped is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to us:
- Workouts, sets, reps, and weights you log
- Routines you build and save
- Personal records and streaks
- Story cards you generate, until you choose to share or save one
Because this data never leaves your device, we can't see it, back it up, or recover it. Deleting the app deletes it.
What we don't collect
- No account — we don't ask for your name, email, or phone number.
- No workout data uploaded to a server.
- No advertising identifiers, and no third-party ad tracking.
- We don't sell or share personal data. There isn't any to sell.
Information Apple handles
Pumped is distributed through the App Store, and Apple handles a few things directly:
- Purchases. If you subscribe to Pumped+, Apple processes the payment. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active — never your payment details.
- App Store analytics. Apple gives developers aggregate, anonymised statistics such as download and crash counts, and only if you've opted in to sharing analytics with developers in your iOS settings. These reports don't identify individual users.
Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
When you share a card
Sharing a story card hands it to whichever app you choose — Instagram, TikTok, Messages, or your camera roll. From that moment it's governed by that app's privacy policy, not this one. Pumped doesn't post anything on your behalf and doesn't need access to your social accounts.
Permissions the app asks for
Pumped only asks for a permission at the moment it needs one — for example, photo library access when you save a card. You can decline, and you can change your mind later in iOS Settings; declining only disables the feature that needed it.
This website
This marketing site doesn't use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and reliability, as any web host does.
Children
Pumped isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. Since the app collects no personal data from anyone, there's nothing for us to delete — but if you have a concern, get in touch.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Because your data stays on your device, you already have complete control: you can view, edit, or delete any of it in the app, and deleting the app removes all of it. We hold no copy to hand over or erase.
Changes to this policy
If Pumped ever starts collecting data — for example, if we add optional cloud sync — we'll update this page before that feature ships and change the “last updated” date at the top.
