Terms of service

Last updated: August 26, 2026

These terms apply when you download or use Pumped (the “app”) or visit this site. By using Pumped, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the app.

Who can use Pumped

You need to be at least 13 years old to use Pumped. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with a parent or guardian's permission.

Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Pumped on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms of service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or any part of it, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Your workouts and your content

Pumped is local-first: the workouts, routines, personal records, and story cards you create stay on your device. That content is yours. We don't claim ownership of it, and because we never receive it, we can't access, restore, or transfer it for you.

Keeping your own backups is your responsibility. Deleting the app, or losing or resetting your device, may permanently delete your workout history.

Acceptable use

When using Pumped, you agree not to:

  • Use the app for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm anyone.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app or any system it relies on.
  • Share cards or content that infringes someone else's rights, or that misrepresents another person's results as your own.

Pumped+ subscriptions

Tracking, streaks, personal records, and story cards are free. Pumped+ is an optional paid subscription that unlocks deeper stats and more templates.

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your App Store account, and they renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings; cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us.

Health and fitness disclaimer

Pumped is a logging and sharing tool, not a medical device or a source of medical advice. Nothing in the app — including any stats, recaps, or suggestions it shows you — is a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, physiotherapist, or coach. Talk to a professional before starting or changing a training programme, and stop exercising if something hurts. You train at your own risk.

Sharing to other platforms

When you share a story card to Instagram, TikTok, or anywhere else, that platform's own terms and privacy policy govern what happens to it from that point on. We have no control over content once it leaves your device.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may stop offering the app entirely. We'll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but we're not obliged to keep any particular feature available.

No warranty

Pumped is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its calculations will always be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or injury arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

You can stop using Pumped at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your licence to use the app if you breach these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pumped's developer is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
